Well, here we are. New blog, new home. I’ve shut down scotthough.com, moved the most popular posts over, and migrated everything from WordPress to a site I built myself (because who needs 300 plugins and a fragile database?). Now, my personal blog lives as a subdomain of The Vintage Gamers. Cleaner, leaner, and all under one roof - finally.

I no longer own scotthough.com - may it rest in a moderately priced registrar grave. Truth is, I didn’t feel like paying for a standalone domain just for my personal musings. So I did the sensible thing and folded it all into The Vintage Gamers website. One less domain to renew. One more step toward simplifying my digital clutter.

Now, about the blog itself - I didn’t bother migrating everything. A bunch of those old posts were basically late-night caffeine rambles and digital therapy sessions. I kept the good ones—the ones people actually read, shared, or yelled at me about. The rest? Gone, like my patience for autoplay videos.

Also, you may notice this isn’t WordPress anymore. With all the recent drama at Automattic (yeah, I read that article too ), I figured it was time to jump ship. WordPress felt bloated, overcomplicated, and honestly... a little stale. So I built this setup myself. It’s faster, leaner, and doesn’t require 47 plugins just to display a paragraph.

So yeah - welcome back, or welcome for the first time. I’ll still be rambling, just from a new digital corner of the internet.
